Korean-Style Curry Recipe (Using Ottogi Curry Powder)

Ingredients (Serves 2-3)

  • Ottogi Curry Powder: 100g (about 1/2 pack)
  • Meat: 150g pork or beef (chicken works too)
  • Potato: 1 medium-sized
  • Carrot: 1/2 medium-sized
  • Onion: 1 medium-sized
  • Water: 500ml
  • Cooking Oil: 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients

    • Cut the potato, carrot, and onion into bite-sized cubes.
    • Slice the meat into similar-sized pieces.
  2. Stir-Fry

    • Heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Stir-fry the meat until partially cooked.
    • Add the potato, carrot, and onion, and continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Simmer

    • Pour in 500ml of water and bring it to a boil.
    • Once boiling, reduce to medium heat, remove any foam, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Add Curry Powder

    • Lower the heat to low and gradually add Ottogi Curry Powder while stirring to dissolve.
    • Continue to simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve

    • Serve the curry with steamed rice.
    • Optionally, pair with pickled radish, kimchi, or a sprinkle of black pepper.
